FREE Family-Friendly "Drum Circles"  NBC First Coast Morning News "Joins the Jam" with West African drum Circles Percussion Ensemble June 17th 2019  "Community Unity Through Rhythm & Dance" !West African "Drum Circles" of Saint Augustine is celebrating our 7th year with now over 500 plus Members...We are a community event using rhythm & Dance for the unification of our wonderful Saint Augustine Community.  Our Events are always FREE and Family-Friendly...We supply ALL the Drums..African Djembes & Djun Djun Drums along with a Two (2)  "Truck Load;s" Of Drums and  Hand-Percussion. Everyone Plays....Special Guest Pro-Facilitator at each and every event with a New Genre of Drumming introduced...Afro-Cuban, Brazilian, West African Etc... Events are on the 3rd Thursday of each  Month from March thru to October.  We meet at the Saint Augustine Beach Pier Pavilion  from 7-10pm, with special guest Percussion Facilitators Instructing from 7-8pm,  each & every Month...At 8pm our Exotic Dance Instructor.., "The Goddess Elayna"..Gathers Everyone in a Free-Form group Belly Dance, Children always participate with great enthusiasm.  We are currently sponsored by the Saint Johns Cultural Council and have been the recipient  of two  SOTA Grant Awards. Also Sponsored by the Saint Augustine Beach Civic Association, we Love our community supporters..!     With over 500plus Members and up to 100 drummers attending each and every event our equipment is always in constant need of repair Or replacement.  Our $600 goal is for 2 New Djembe Drums and 6 assorted Hand-Percussion.  This will enable us to continue with our growth and ensure that each person attending our Free Family-Friendly event has an instrument to play & participate.  We ALL thank you for your generous  Donation and welcome you to come to one or more of our Open event Drum Circles.  May God Bless You & PLEASE.....DRUM-On....!!  Michael S.
