At Altarum Institute , we believe that every child deserves a healthy smile. That’s why we created SmileConnect.org , an online platform that harnesses the power of community, technology, and social networking to connect children across the nation with the oral health resources and prevention they need most. Using an innovative online platform, SmileConnect℠ empowers teachers and community organizations to post requests for oral health resources on smileconnect.org, then our team works to identify the volunteers and donated resources needed to deliver preventive oral health to those children in their classrooms.
Since its launch in February 2016, the response to SmileConnect℠ in Michigan has been overwhelming. In just 1 year, we have provided oral health supplies, education, and preventive services to more than 5,000 children that may otherwise have gone untreated. SmileConnect℠ now needs your help to continue to demonstrate the power of this innovative solution. With donations gathered, we aim to provide an additional 7,500 children with the oral health resources they so critically need.
With a donation of just $25, you can provide a classroom of 25 with the tools they need to keep their teeth healthy. Your donation will be used to purchase toothbrushes, toothpaste, and floss.
