Support the Family of Danny Carter
As a decades long friend and brother-in-law of Dan Carter, I post this request on behalf of his beautiful family, Mary and the three children, now in their 20s.
We lost Danny recently due to Cancer. He put up one hell of a fight. As hard as it will be to try and heal, some, we know that Dan's family is going to be left with a huge financial burden, on top of this profound loss. We cant allow that burden to be insurmountable.
Every penny received from this campaign will go to Dan's Family. Significant medical expenses are only the beginning of the burden they must now face. The figure I placed for this campain is minor compared to their financial predicament. I hope we exceed it and I have to raise the goal, to be more in line with their actual needs.
Dan & Mary jumped thru hoops to enable the kids to receive an education, and now the student loans come due. He deserves better. They do.
And Dan is not with them to help.
Danny impacted many lives in his 60 years. He helped family & friends on a dime. Dan was the guy you'd call when you needed to get to the doctor in NYC, or if you blew a circut breaker, again. Or if cousin Steve convinced him to go to a WHO concert at Madison Square Garden, during a blizzard.
His beloved brothers at IBEW 103 and the other trades knew Dan was there if they needed someone to help, personally or professionally.
The love for his children was apparent in nearly everything he did. From baseball games to cheerleading practice, he was there for them, always.
And so, I ask that you consider the loss these great folks are trying to absorb today, and will forever, and contribute what you are able so we can try and help them get on with their lives.
