May the Woof Be With You (Scott White)

Scott White is 11 years old and was born with a condition called Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita (AMC). AMC is a rare disorder that affects flexion most of Scott's joints, limiting his mobility.
The great news is that Scott was approved to receive an assistance dog from Canine Companions for Independence. While this organization offers fully trained dogs free of charge, there are costs associated with travel for Scott (and his mother) to attend a training course in Ohio when a suitable dog is available.
