Help Me Recover From Fraud!

I experienced an awful, heart-wrenching scam upon first moving to Nashville. I created an account on Care.com in hopes of helping people and exercising my passion for working with the disabled. I soon recieved a lead. I was manipulated into believing that I was getting a job to work with an elderly lady with cerebral palsy. Her "father" (aka scam artist) really tugged on my trusting heart strings and played around with them for weeks on end. I was so excited to be a positive influence on a "woman who needs me" and when it got close to "her time of arrival", I was to handle the "ordering of her power chair" so "she" could be as comfortable as possible. Through this process, I was given bad checks to handle the payment. I ended up losing all the money I worked hard for in my account and am left with a $4,100 debt. I have not spoken a word of this to anyone, save my surrounding friends, because I thought, surely the bank will work with me on this! It's so unjust; there has to be a way to find justice! But after countless phone calls, bank visits, police department visits, forms, ect... NADA, just a huge debt to pay! I have never owned this kind of money in my life, and it would take me a decade to pay-off this unfortunate financial situation alone. I love you all so dearly, and I really did not want to involve you all, but I need help. I promise to continue to spread love, light, peace, compassion, and understanding. Unfortunate things sometime happen as strong teachers. I have learned much from this guru, and will do my absolute best to practice so much more caution. I will always keep my heart wide-open, but with the strength of intuition and good discretion.
