My name's Giulia, but maybe you know me better as Reptyle Suicide, an alternative model and official Suicidegirl from Italy.






I'm also a photographer (the picture below is an example of my photography) and this is what I do to make a living. 








This is my story.

Last week I was in Milan to work as a photographer and I was hospitalized for an emergency; since I was13 I suffered from Sjogren's syndrome, an autoimmune disease, and after that I was diagnosed with Fybromialgia, Rheumathoids artritis and hashimoto's thiroids (because autoimmune diseases tend to relate to one another).
I also have ostheoporosis, which doesn't allow me to use cortisone anymore to calm the unbearable pain I feel all over my body everyday. Plus, here in Italy these illnessess are not properly recognized, so I only get a very few threatments for free (that doesn't even allow to take my illnesses under control) and everything else is at my charge. My family literally spent every single cent trying to make me feel better with my health, but in facts the situation got worse and worse despite their effort.
 
Thankfully, here in italy I found a doctor that helped me a lot with pain after 17 years of serious diseases and prescribed me with therapeutic cannabis. For once I had the feeling of having back the life I tought I had lost forever, but as a side effect I now suffer from bipolar disorder that needs an immediate cure. This is why I was hospitalized.

While in the hospital, all my luggage was locked in a room only the nurses had access to. Inexplicably, someone (someone from the medical/nursery staff for sure) stole all my photography equipment.

They stole also some other random stuff, like clothing, bracelets, charms and stuff, but I don't mind about that, all that matters is my photo equipment that is gone now.
All this happened now, in a period while I seriously need to work and pay for my very expensive therapies.

To make things even worse, on the memory cards and hard drive I also had very important pictures that my clients paid in advance, so now I need to pay back the shootings and the damage.


As you can see, the damage for this robbery is 4.000€.
Consider also the money I need to give back to people who worked with me last week, whose photos I've now lost, I really don't know what to do.

Now I absolutely need new equipment and money for my expensive therapies.
To make matters worse, I am from Florence and my mother slept in an hotel to stay with me when I was at the hospital in Milan. To pay for the hotel I had to use all the money I had saved, just to have my mom with me.
Now I'm broke, sick (I can't use therapeutic cannabis anymore atm as it caused me this bipolar disorder, so I have to pay for new doctors and new therapies trying to feel at least in a decent way) but I really need to work again asap. If my health will allow me that, I have to go to Paris for a Suicidegirl shootfest in June to work as a model, to shoot all the girls as a photographer and to make some other photography works.
The shootfest starts on the 13th of June so I really hope to raise some money before the 13th .
