My name is Michelle Mitchell and also go by my artist name BOMBCHELLE, This is my story.
I was plagued by unforseen events like most from an early age, I had lost my father January 11, 1995 after being in a coma for a month due to a heart attack. A few years later holding on to the one thing that I knew would make him proud was taken from me. I lost my virginity at 16 being raped, I was raped 2 times after once at gunpoint.
It was traumatic and not telling my family until recently was difficult. In 2005 I felt so free that I invested in my own business which was a recording studio that I co-owned for 4 years and recorded my first album BOMBCHELLE "Blowin Up" and sold over 30,000 copies. In 2007 I thought those years of pain in my life were over until I fell in love with a man who I thought would bring me comfort and security but come to find out he had a mental illness that affected me and my 2 sons.
We got married and the abuse got worse. Mainly verbal and emotional which at times would leave me feeling alone and depressed. During those times music was my refuge and way to cope. Although I wasnt recording during those years I never stopped writing! Music, spirituality and therapy gave me a strong sense of divine purpose , eventually anchored and sustained me, I am not a "victim" but an "overcomer" not a "survivor" but a "thriver." My art is an expression of pain and hope, my music is a story that I feel compelled to be heard, my message to women is one of faith and renewal! To those who have experienced abuse or neglect this quote comes to mind, "One's dignity may be assaulted, vandalized and cruelly mocked, but it can NEVER be taken away unless it is surrendered." I say to YOU do NOT surrender! I have a passion to empower women who are being abused to seek help, find peace and freedom. I stand for humanity, children, womens rights, domestic violence awareness and spiritual developement. My mission is simple, to inspire and take my messages to the masses creating healing through LOVE. Im also a certified reiki master and worked with children for 17 years. Through my art, my music and through projects I am determined to bring awareness to the masses . "There are far too many silent sufferers. Not because they dont yearn to reach out, but because they've tried and found that nobody cares." I DO care!!!
I am humbly reaching out because i am not in the best financial situation due to huge recent life transitions , yet I feel inspired, confident and purpose driven. I humbly ask to help me in funding my efforts to publish and successfully fund the means to market my life story, my music, my art and any allow me to fund ventures that will allow me to acomplish my dreams while also bringing a sense of financial stability for me and my sons . I am asking loving souls to invest and to be a part of my success . Thank you all who took the time out of your day to read my story. If you have been touched please NEVER GIVE UP!
