Baby dreams and new beginnings

Our dream is a baby of our own.  17 years ago I had a tubal ligation, knowing that the relationship I was in at the time should not produce anymore children.  Fast forward 17 years, I am now married to a wonderful, caring, loving guy.  We both dream of having a baby together.  Neither of our insurances cover the tubal ligation reversal. 

We both work in the public sector of law enforcement, trying to make a difference helping others.  While the pay in not that great helping others has it's own rewards. 

I have never been one to ask for help, I prefer to be the helper.  The only reason I ask now is that this dream of having a baby of our own is so great that it is worth asking for!
