Elizabeth “Ellie” Adrian was diagnosed with Lymphoblastic Leukemia on July 20th, 2020. Her dad, Eric, is a good friend to many here in the Bay Area & back home. He played college hockey for the Roosevelt University Lakers (RMU-I Eagles, '02-‘05), was a longtime player/coach/referee at Johnny’s IceHouse-Chicago, a former Oakland Bears Coach & a beloved member of our beer league team, the Hansons. We all wanted to pull together for him & his family as only the hockey community can. He’s one of Chicago’s own, born & raised. It had been difficult before this diagnosis with many unknowns. We thank you all for the many prayers & well wishes. She has a great team at Phoenix Children’s Hospital & is a strong little fighter. She rang the bell on November 22nd, 2022. With great adversity breeds monumental strength. #EllieStrong
