<div>If you know me you know I hate to be doing this. I always keep quiet and never ask for help but I’m at a point where I’m not going to be able to get through this alone. It’s been a very rough year for my little family and four kids. We have went through things this past year that I have held in and just kept pushing forward. As some of you know last year my house was for sell. It fell through the day of closing because the other party  wouldn’t sign an addendum to an amount of money for damage from hurricane Helene,  they wanted $7500 cash which we just didn’t have.  They’re now asking to sue us for 530,000+ to be granted for them since we didn’t close which would completely fund there new house, truck, and pool. We asked them to extend closing to Monday so that we could work something out. They denied and said they’d like to move on. At that time we refunded the earnest money and signed the papers to release us from the contract. They have now put in papers with a lawyer to sue us for the full amount. We went to mediation which cost 2,000+ and they said they wouldn’t settle for less then 500,000. While I do not feel I’m in any wrong if we can’t afford to counter sue then they would be granted what they’re requesting which means we could lose everything. We have to pay 5,000 retainer for our lawyer to counter sue and since they’ve filed we only have so many days to file counter claims. This has caused a HUGE mental toll on my little family as we are drowning in debt and finances to keep up. At this point I just don’t know how we’re going to get through it but I’m trusting in God! Lots of people have recommended I create a go fund me and while if you know me it’s so hard. I want to cry, scream, and just back down. I hate disagreements and stay clear every time they come around. I have no option but to keep trying to fight this or they’ll win and this will affect my kids for the rest of their lives.
