<div>As Muslims, we believe in giving charity on behalf of those who have passed away, with the intention that the reward reaches them. This belief is rooted in the teachings of Islam. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was asked whether charity given on behalf of a deceased person would benefit them, and he confirmed that it would (reported in Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim). We also believe in sadaqah jariyah — ongoing charity — which continues to benefit a person even after death.
