<div>During my recent trip to Guatemala, I saw something that deeply touched my heart. Across from my grandmother’s house lives a family in a small home made of old wooden boards. They are a hardworking family with two daughters—an 11-year-old girl and an 18-month-old baby. The father works hard, but like many people in Guatemala who have limited educational opportunities, he struggles to find steady work and barely earns enough to feed his family.

<div>Seeing the conditions they live in broke my heart, and I knew I wanted to do something to help. My goal is to raise enough money to build them a small, safe, and decent home where they can live with dignity and peace of mind.
