<div><strong>The Story</strong>
</div>
<div>A few weeks ago, Leo crafted the most delicious pastries for Faubourg's first Flavor of South America event and our 4th anniversary celebration. Leo is a gifted pastry chef who helped make our recent Latinos of Montclair tasting event a success, sharing his craft and his warmth with all of us.

</div>
<div>Today, Leo needs us.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On June 1, Leo was detained by ICE while entering a shopping center in Buffalo, New York. In an instant, a hardworking, beloved member of our community was taken from his family, his coworkers, and the life he has built here.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Leo is not a danger to anyone. He has a pending asylum case and a valid work permit. He did everything the right way — following the legal process, working honestly, and contributing to his community. His family and his employer are devastated, and they have turned to us for help.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We cannot stand by while one of our own faces detention alone.
</div>

</div>
<div><strong>Why We're Raising $20,000</strong>
</div>
<div>Fighting an immigration case is expensive, urgent, and complex. Every dollar raised will go directly toward Leo's legal defense, including:
</div>
<ul>
<li>Immigration attorney fees to fight for his release and protect his asylum claim
</li>
<li>Bond costs, if a bond is granted, to bring Leo home while his case proceeds
</li>
<li>Court filing and case-related expenses
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Skilled legal representation is the single most important factor in cases like Leo's. With the right attorney, Leo has a real chance to come home to New Jersey and continue his case in freedom. Without it, he faces this fight alone.

<div><strong>Why Give Through Latinos of Montclair</strong>
</div>
<div>This campaign is organized by Latinos of Montclair, now in our fourth year of serving and uplifting our community. Because we are the organizers, your gift goes through a trusted, accountable organization committed to transparency. We will steward every dollar carefully and make sure it reaches Leo's defense.

</div>
<div><strong>How You Can Help</strong>
</div>
<div><strong>Donate</strong> — any amount brings Leo closer to home. $25, $50, $100 — it all adds up.
</div>
<div><strong>Share</strong> — forward this to your friends, family, and networks. A share costs nothing and can reach the person who makes the difference.
</div>
<div><strong>Stand with us</strong> — Leo is part of Montclair. When one of us is in trouble, we show up.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Leo gave our community his time and his talent. Now it's our turn to give him a fighting chance.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please donate today and bring Leo home.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With gratitude,
</div>
