<div>Over the past several years, life has taken me on a journey I never expected. What began as a battle with a rare illness ultimately led to kidney failure and the need for ongoing dialysis treatments. While this path has brought many challenges, it has also deepened my appreciation for life, strengthened my dharmic practice, and revealed the incredible power of community, generosity and compassion.

<div>Today, I am reaching out with fait and gratitude in my heart.

<div>I have been presented with an opportunity to receive a kidney transplant through a highly respected nephrologist and transplant team in Mexico. This procedure offers the possibility of restoring my health, freedom, and quality of life in ways that dialysis simply cannot. It represents a chance to reclaim precious time and energy, continue serving my family, my sons, grandson, community, and return to living more fully.

<div>The estimated out-of-pocket cost for the transplant procedure is approximately $50,000. In addition, my medical team has advised that I remain in the San Diego area for approximately three months following surgery. This extended recovery period is essential to ensure proper healing, attend follow-up appointments, undergo monitoring, and receive ongoing post-transplant care.
