<div><strong>“In just one night, everything I built was taken from me but I refuse to lose hope.”</strong>

<div><br />
</div>
<div>Hello, my name is Gloria, and I am reaching out with a humble and hopeful heart after experiencing one of the most life-changing tragedies I have ever faced. I live in Trelawny, Jamaica a place that has always been my comfort, my pride, and my home. But recently, Hurricane Melissa tore through our community with a force that none of us were prepared for.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>During the storm, the wind and rain were terrifying. In just moments, the hurricane ripped the entire roof off my home. With nothing to protect it, the heavy rain poured inside and destroyed everything my furniture, personal items, and the things I worked so hard to build over the years.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>When the storm passed and I saw the damage, my heart broke. My home, my safe place, had become unlivable. I felt lost, overwhelmed, and unsure of where to begin. Yet, even through the tears and the fear, I am choosing to hold on to hope.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Today, I am humbly asking for your help. I cannot rebuild alone.
</div>
<div>Your support no matter the amount will help me take the first steps toward restoring my home and my life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The funds raised will be used to:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li><strong>Purchase roofing and structural materials</strong> to replace what the hurricane destroyed
</li>
<li><br />
</li>
<li><strong>Replace basic household items </strong>damaged by the storm
</li>
<li><br />
</li>
<li><strong>Pay skilled workmen</strong> to repair the house safely and properly
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Right now, my home remains without a roof and is not safe to live in. Every time it rains, the damage gets worse. There is an urgent need to begin repairs as soon as possible so I can have a secure place to live again. Any help you can offer today will make a direct and immediate difference.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This disaster has tested me in every way, but I still believe in God’s goodness and in the kindness of people. Your generosity will not only help rebuild my home it will help rebuild my spirit. I will forever be grateful for every donation, every share, and every prayer.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>I pray that anyone who reads my story will be touched with compassion.</strong> May God bless every person who donates, shares, or simply keeps me in prayer. Your kindness brings light to a very dark moment. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me rebuild and regain hope after Hurricane Melissa.
