<div>Elizabeth Clarke has been scorned and feared by her neighbours ever since her mother was executed as a witch. When unexplainable misfortune strikes Manningtree, Elizabeth is herself accused and arrested for witchcraft. Matthew Hopkins is a young man who has yet to escape the shadow of his deceased minister father. Suspecting Satan may walk the Essex countryside, and seeing this as a chance to prove himself, Hopkins volunteers to interrogate the witch. The events that follow that fateful night would lead to the executions of as many as 100 innocent people.

<div>Donations will aid us in funding this ambitious and timely project. Funding will allow us to cover creative costs like set-building, costumes, and props, and logistics such as participation fees and promotional materials. We believe that "Deliver Us From Evil" is a particularly relevant piece of theatre in our current times where extremism, paranoia, and otherization is just as prevalent as it was during the era of witch-hunting.
