<div>Recently, I faced one of the toughest moments of my life — losing my dad. In his memory, and to honour everything he did for others, I’ve decided to take on one of the biggest physical challenges of my life.

</div>
<div>Over the next 14 weeks, I’ll be running a 14km charity race, my first full marathon, and then an ultramarathon — all to raise funds for the Coronary Care Unit at Wigan &amp; Leigh Infirmary, the team who cared for my dad with such kindness and dedication.

<div>During a time of deep uncertainty, the staff at the CCU provided more than just expert medical care. They gave our family compassion, patience, and a sense of peace when we needed it most. I’ll never forget what they did for us.

<div>This fundraiser is my way of saying thank you — and helping to ensure others can receive that same level of support. Every donation, big or small, will go directly to the CCU to help them continue their vital work.
