<div>Hi everyone!
</div>
<div>My name is Melissa.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My friend Cora's son, Jayden, was hit by a drunk driver on December 23rd (<a href="https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/ottawa/impaired-driving-child-hospital-injuries-ottawa-1.7069551)." target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><a href="https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/ottawa/impaired-driving-child-hospital-injuries-ottawa-1.7069551" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/ottawa/impaired-driving-child-hospital-injuries-ottawa-1.7069551</a>).</a> Jayden is a 7-year-old boy full of life and happiness until he was badly injured in the car crash.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Jayden's road to recovery will be long and arduous for him and for his mother.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He will need 24/7 care for the next weeks and months and over the coming months, he will need follow up appointments and physiotherapy. He likely won't be able to go to school and will need home schooling.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Cora has been a rock for her son. She is a single mom who has been working contract work, has no insurance and will have no income coming in as she takes care of Jayden.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The reality of paying rent and bills is going to start weighing heavy and distract Cora from where her attention needs to be -- on her son.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Cora didn't ask for this -- their lives smashed by a drunk driver.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you could help financially by giving what you can, this would be greatly appreciated and would allow mom to focus on the main objective of getting Jayden healthy and happy again. And if you can, please consider giving blood as it saves lives.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>***
</div>
<div>Bonjour tout le monde!
</div>
<div>Mon nom est Melissa.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
