<div><strong>What if every child developed the tools to identify, understand and express their own unique emotional spectrum?</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>What if learning to stand the storm didn’t mean toughening up but accepting, listening and empathising? Would we connect more deeply with ourselves and the world around us?
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>WE ARE SKY: Learning to Stand the Storm</strong> is a new workshop designed to nurture emotional literacy in children and young people through creativity and self-expression.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Blending art, poetry and soundscapes with the natural world, the project is designed to be more than a lesson- it’s an opportunity to reshape how we support mental well-being in education and the community.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We simply cannot just rely on our current system to develop emotional communication and support our children in becoming the next generation of problem solvers through kindness, empathy and understanding.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>We have to be more radical.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your support will help us:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>Develop high-quality creative resources for schools and museums
</li>
<li>Facilitate workshops blending art, nature, emotional exploration and expression
</li>
<li>I want to make at least ONE MORE soundscape- we cannot limit the emotions we explore with the children
</li>
<li>Ensure accessibility by subsidising costs for underfunded schools
</li>
<li>Gather input from teachers, parents and young people in Cheshire and Staffordshire.
</li>
<li>Continue to expand the project in a series of local schools this year
</li>
</ul>

<div>I'm so excited about this project and the potential impact it has for our community and beyond. The feedback has already been so incredible and it's WORKING. Children and young learners are responding in a way that I never thought was possible.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Let’s teach our young minds not just how to weather the storm but how to become still within it.
