<div>This is Buddy, blue-eyed, cat-fixated, ball-chasing but well-mannered. My son named him Buddy because he said ..<em> he was his “Buddy”.</em>

<div>I’ve not done anything like this before, but after seeing my son literally break down in tears after having received the diagnosis, I just wanted to see if I could help give Buddy all the opportunities available for treatment. We live a relatively low-key life when it comes to social media, so I'm not sure how many people this will actually get seen by.

<div><strong>Buddy is a 4-year-old border collie and was diagnosed today with cancer.</strong> My son noticed his lymph nodes were swollen about a couple of weeks ago, and immediately took him to see his vet. After a blood test, it was confirmed that he has cancer.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The last couple of weeks, I’ve noticed that Buddy takes frequent rests in the middle of the floor now. Normally, Buddy is on high-key all day long with either a toy or staring at or “herding” the cat. My son loves to take him on walks and if you see a border collie with doggles on in the backseat of a blue car gleefully smelling the air.. that’s Buddy.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>I’d like to help my son get the funds to take Buddy in for treatment and give him a fighting chance to have a long life and continue to be my son’s “Buddy”. Let’s make those blue eyes shine again both Buddy’s and yes my son’s eyes are blue also. </strong>
