<div><strong>One runner. One goal. Changing the narrative around menopause.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I’m not your typical menopause activist.
</div>
<div>I’m a pediatric dentist (MSc, PhD), a mother, a sister, and an unlikely marathon runner.
</div>
<div>This October, I’ll be running the Lausanne Marathon -42 kilometres! to raise awareness and funds for women living with induced menopause.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The first time I signed up for a marathon it was supposed to be a joint adventure with my sisters, but cancer changed that.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now I’m running for my sister Alejandra, who entered sudden menopause after breast cancer treatment at 40.
</div>
<div>I’m running for my sister Lorena, who faced the same diagnosis months later — and who created Vive_la_meno, a grassroots movement helping women navigate menopause brought on by cancer treatments or surgery.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Both are survivors struggling to find the right treatment for their symptoms. There’s still no space for those whose menopause is medically induced — even though up to one in five women experience it.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>No one talks about the impact on health, work, or relationships, present and future.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I’m running to change that.
</div>
<div>For visibility. For awareness. For answers. For better support and care.
</div>
<div>For a space in the menopause conversation.
</div>
<div>For a movement called Vive_la_meno.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you are going through this, you are not alone.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your donation supports:
</div>
<div>– Free events and workshops with doctors and specialists
</div>
<div>– Multilingual, medically reviewed resources on induced menopause
</div>
<div>– A digital symptom tracker for women in induced menopause
</div>
<div>– Community spaces that offer real support — not silence
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Help us change the story.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We appreciate you.
