<div>Left Jab is a queer-friendly, anti-racist, anti-capitalist mixed martial arts (MMA) club. We currently meet twice a week in the Twin Cities for beginner-oriented, instructor-led classes on boxing, kickboxing, and grappling. Left Jab classes are, and will always remain, *free*. We seek to foster a culture of personal and community self-defense on the left and provide an inclusive space for training together, learning foundational skills in hand-to-hand combat, and having fun while doing it.

<div>Left Jab is entirely volunteer-run and relies on donations. In the wake of Operation Metro Surge, interest in community self-defense has understandably increased significantly, and our membership has doubled this year. We have added an extra weekly class to help accommodate our growing numbers and are looking to further expand. For this reason, we are setting a fundraising goal of 10k, to be allocated toward rent and additional equipment (boxing gloves, focus mitts, wrestling mats, etc.).
