He poured his heart into the sport for decades — but he was so much more than his titles. Vangelis was a mentor, a friend and an inspiration who helped athletes become dream-chasers by blending skill with joy and passion. His selflessness and generosity meant “no” was rarely in his vocabulary. And his greatest reward? Seeing his players and their families grow, shine, and thrive — both on and off the court.
