<div>Josie is my beloved 7-and-a-half-year-old pitbull mix and truly the light of my life. She’s the reason I wake up every day, and her sweet, silly, and stubborn personality brings so much joy to everyone she meets. Josie has already overcome so much—about two and a half years ago, she underwent major surgery to repair a CCL tear in her back leg, and together we worked hard through her recovery so she could enjoy a pain-free, happy life again. We’ve also faced the heartbreak of losing two of her fur siblings in the past year, making Josie’s presence even more precious to me.

<div>Recently, Josie was diagnosed with immune-mediated thrombocytopenia (ITP), a serious condition that requires immediate and ongoing veterinary care. She’s currently hospitalized and needs constant monitoring, blood tests, imaging, and medications. There’s a possibility she’ll need further testing, long-term immunosuppressants, or additional days in the hospital, which will increase the costs even more. My hope is to cover her current treatment and be prepared for any long-term care she may need so she can keep fighting and get back to the life she loves and lives fully.
