<div>The parish of Westmoreland was among the hardest hit. Entire communities were left in ruins. Homes lost their roofs, some were completely destroyed, and families who once had shelter are now exposed to the elements. In a matter of hours, Hurricane Melissa stripped many of our loved ones of the very basics needed to survive.

<div>As a result of this destruction, much of our family is now without shelter, food, clean water, clothing, or electricity. Nights are especially difficult, as many areas remain without power and rely on temporary lighting just to feel safe. What was once normal daily life has become a struggle for survival.
