They reported the vicious crimes done to them to the country's police, which sadly only put a greater target on their back.

They followed every available lead to seek pro bono representation, but no organization had available capacity because of the extraordinarily high need for immigration attorneys right now. Deportation back to their home country would be a death sentence.
