<div>Without his medication, Haitham falls into a diabetic coma almost daily. His condition is deteriorating and he is losing weight rapidly. Mona is struggling to care for both him and her children Yazan, age 11, Yamen, age 9 and Ahmed, age 7. After being displaced 12 times, fleeing multiple bombings and attacks, the family is exhausted and terrified. Life in the school is crowded, dirty and uncomfortable. Their immediate survival is uncertain and their hopes for the future have been permanently altered.
