<div>My husband, <strong>Bijaya Ghimire, MD</strong>, is currently in the hospital at UK Lexington fighting for his life. He needs to have a heart transplant work-up. The problem we are facing is he does not have insurance that will cover the work-up; our new insurance starts November 1st. The cardiologist told us today that he <strong>CANNOT WAIT</strong> until then. <strong>We need to do the work-up in the next few days.</strong> Once he has the work-up, they will place him on a mechanical heart pump. We are being told the cost will be $250,000 upfront. We are in the process of trying to get the money, but it takes time to sell property, and <strong>WE ARE RUNNING OUT OF TIME.</strong> We never thought something like this could happen, but if you could help in any way, even if it is just a prayer or small donation, it would be a great help.
