<div>For the past three years, I have been homeless, struggling every day just to get by. My only companion through all of this has been my turtle, Snoopy, who means the world to me. Recently, a friend gave me a lifeline by letting me stay in a room temporarily, but now I am being asked to leave at the end of this month. <strong>If I get kicked out, I will be forced to go back to living in my car, which is old, prone to breaking down, and extremely expensive to keep running with the current gas prices.</strong> The thought of returning to that life is terrifying.

<div>I lost my job at FedEx, and now I have no income aside from a small amount left from my last paycheck. Even when I was working, I was living paycheck to paycheck, and now things feel more desperate than ever. <strong>The money raised will go directly toward paying my rent at the end of the month.</strong> If I can't pay, I could face legal trouble and be homeless again, living in my car. Any extra funds will help me look for a new job, buy food, cover basic supplies, and pay for medical bills. I have a painful skin condition on my legs that requires regular shots, and without insurance, the cost of medicine is overwhelming. It's something I don't like to show or talk about, but it's a big part of why things are so hard right now.
