<div>My name is Eugene and earlier this year, I lost my mother to cancer. She was more than just a mother to me — she was a tireless animal lover who devoted her life to rescuing and caring for strays in Sekinchan, Malaysia.

<div>At the time of her passing, she was looking after 30 rescued dogs, all now sheltered under a private facility. Unfortunately, the shelter owner is now requesting payment to continue housing and feeding them — something my family is currently struggling to afford alone.

<div>These dogs were my mom’s heart. Many were abandoned, sick, or injured before she gave them a second chance. They are her legacy, and I’m doing everything I can to keep them safe and together — just as she would’ve wanted.
