<div>I’m Onthonio “Nookie” Whyte and Kim Plotke, we’re reaching out for help for our family in Black River, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, who have lost almost everything after Hurricane Melissa tore through the island.

<div>The storm completely destroyed their homes — roofs were ripped off, water flooded every room, and all of their belongings were ruined. Right now, they are struggling to find safe shelter, and food and clean water are running dangerously low.

<div>My family includes my elderly parents, sister, brother, nephews, uncle, and aunt. They’ve always been strong and hardworking people who help others in the community — but this time, they urgently need help themselves.
