<div>Reaching Rock Bottom
</div>
<div>Despite his best eforts to recover and find a new job, the market has been unforgiving, and his

<div>funds have vanished. Over the past few months, he has had to sell nearly everything he owns,

<div>his computer, his personal belongings and household items leaving him nothing but one
</div>
<div>saucepan and one frying pan. He has has to sell his scooter—the primary means of
</div>
<div>transportation in his city—just to put food on the table, meaning he has to walk 30 minutes a
</div>
<div>day, carrying his daughter on his back to make sure she gets to school. On top of this he has to
</div>
<div>walk upwards of 40 km a day just to attend job interviews.

<div>His situation has only become worse, now forced to sell the Christmas presents he had
</div>
<div>purchased for his daughter. This has hit him harder than selling his own belongings and he is
</div>
<div>barely holding on as everything has become dark and hopeless. He has been living in a tiny,
</div>
<div>single-room apartment, doing his best to care for her during their shared custody time, but he is
</div>
<div>behind on rent, facing imminent eviction and has run out of things to sell.

<div>Why This Matters
</div>
<div>My brother grew up without a father and doesn't even know his name. This experience has
</div>
<div>instilled in him a powerful, non-negotiable goal: to be a constant, loving presence in his
</div>
<div>daughter’s life. He is a man who desperately wants to work, be productive, and put his life back
</div>
<div>together, but he needs a bridge to cross this financial chasm.
</div>
<div>His daughter's mother is from France and has had to shoulder the immense burden of school
</div>
<div>fees, medical insurance, and saving for their daughter's future, making her unable to help him
</div>
<div>financially, not to mention placing a huge mental load on her well being. In addition, the stress
</div>
<div>felt by both the mother and father have made the already challenging concept of co-parenting
</div>
<div>almost impossible.This fundraiser is for a man who is fighting with everything he has left. It is no secret my brother
</div>
<div>is neuro-divergent and has struggled with severe ADHD his entire life. He doesn't deny his
</div>
<div>mistakes, he knows he should have reached out for help earlier, but right now, the only thing
</div>
<div>that matters is securing basic stability so he can focus on his job search and being the fun,
</div>
<div>loving and supportive father his daughter deserves.
