<div>die U13-Softball-Nationalmannschaft wird in diesem Sommer an zwei internationalen Turnieren (Prague International Softball Cup und Little League in Kutno, Polen) teilnehmen und die U15-Softball-Nationalmannschaft mehrere Kadermaßnahmen inkl. Testspiele durchführen. Der Deutsche Baseball und Softball Verband wird die Teilnahmen im Rahmen seiner finanziellen Möglichkeiten unterstützen. Da es keine zusätzlichen staatlichen Förderungen gibt, müssen die Familien der Spielerinnen die Restkosten als Eigenanteil selber tragen.

<div>Der Deutsche Baseball und Softball Verband bittet herzlich um Spenden, um den Eigenanteil der Spielerinnen-Familien so gering wie möglich zu halten und den jungen Spielerinnen die Teilnahme an diesen wichtigen internationalen Wettbewerben und Kadermaßnahmen zu ermöglichen. Jede Spende, egal wie klein, trägt dazu bei, die jungen Talente zu fördern und die Zukunft des deutschen Softballs zu sichern.

<div><strong>Hintergrund:</strong> Im Gegensatz zur Baseball-Nationalmannschaft, bei der die Deutsche Baseball Akademie (DBA) durch ihre hervorragende Arbeit frühzeitig Talente sichtet und fördert, fehlt es im Softballbereich an einer vergleichbaren Struktur. Deshalb wurde im Sommer 2023 der U13-Nationalmannschaftskader offiziell ins Leben gerufen. Ziel ist es, Spielerinnen bereits im Alter von 12-13 Jahren an den internationalen Softball heranzuführen. Dies ist ein wichtiger Schritt, um langfristig die Chancen auf eine Qualifikation für die Olympischen Spiele zu erhöhen. Die Spielerinnen, die 2025 im Kader stehen, könnten im Jahr 2031 Teil der Damen-Nationalmannschaft sein und um die Qualifikation für die Olympischen Spiele 2032 in Brisbane kämpfen.

<div>Um diese Ziele zu erreichen, ist es unerlässlich, dass unsere jungen Talente frühzeitig gesichtet und gefördert werden sowie regelmäßig Kadermaßnahmen durchführen und an internationalen Wettbewerben teilnehmen.
