El proceso ha sido duro: he trabajado incluso estando enferma, pero ahora me es imposible continuar. Estoy sola en este país, con miedo, pero con la esperanza firme de vivir para criar a mi hijo y cuidar a mi madre.

<div>My name is Lorci Yuliet Viveros Viafara, I am 34 years old, originally from Buenaventura (Colombia), and I am the mother of a 9-year-old boy who is my greatest reason to live.

But just a few days later, my life changed completely: during an emergency medical check, I was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the cervix.

<div>I have undergone radiotherapy with the hope of overcoming the disease, but unfortunately, the cancer continues to advance and I must begin chemotherapy very soon. The process has been very hard: I even worked while being sick, but now it has become impossible to continue. I am alone in this country, afraid, yet holding firmly to the hope of living to raise my son and take care of my mother.
