I am also a proud trans creator deeply committed to making art that refuses to let us disappear.

<div>The Project: We F*ing Exist: Transmutation and Permanence is an ongoing multimedia documentation of trans lives — bold, beautiful, raw, and real. Through photography, video and personal storytelling, I am capturing trans people as they exist today: alive, thriving, fighting, dreaming.

<div>Each participant will be photographed, filmed and interviewed.

<div>Together, we are building a body of work that demands to be seen — a permanent, tangible rebellion against the forces that seek to erase us.

<div>Why This Matters: Right now, across the country and the world, trans people are being erased — legally, socially, historically. This project is an act of defiance. It says:

<div>We are here. We are immortal. We are creating our own legacy.

<div>This project is for every trans person who’s been told they don’t belong. It’s for every trans kid who deserves to see themselves reflected back in power and beauty. It’s for our futures.

<div>Studio &amp; Equipment Rental: Some shoots take place in professional studio settings requiring rental fees. Funds will also cover maintenance and minor upgrades for camera, lighting, and sound equipment.

<div>Travel &amp; Transportation: Costs for traveling to and from shoots across Los Angeles (and potentially nearby areas), including gas, parking, and rideshare when needed.

<div>Printing &amp; Framing: High-quality prints of selected images for early gallery submissions and a future exhibition.

<div>Publishing Prep: Initial design and production costs for a future coffee table book, including layout, sample proofs, and ISBN registration.

<div>Accessibility &amp; Safety: Support for participant accommodations and future gatherings (such as food, supplies, and when applicable, hiring trans-affirming security staff for larger events).

<div>Artist Compensation: Support for my time and labor as the sole creative force behind the project (shooting, editing, outreach, archiving, community organizing). This allows me to treat the work as a full-time job and cover living expenses while completing Volume 1.

<div>This budget ensures that Volume 1 is completed with integrity, high production value, and care for all participants involved, while laying the foundation for long-term impact and sustainability.
