<div><a href="https://crossculturalsolidarity.com/tracking-this-authoritarian-moment-and-the-resistance-to-it/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>Tracking this authoritarian moment,</strong></a><strong> </strong><a href="https://crossculturalsolidarity.com/tracking-this-authoritarian-moment-and-the-resistance-to-it/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>and the resistance to it</strong></a><strong> </strong>is a project consisting of five resource collections, plus a discussion group called <a href="https://crossculturalsolidarity.com/discussion-group/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Ideas We Need</a>. <div>The primary goals of the project are to: provide activists and justice organizations around the country with a new tool for our movement; create an archive of this authoritarian moment for history; and hold space through the discussion group for people to reflect on the times we’re living through.

<div><strong>The Resource Collections</strong>

<div>1)	<a href="https://crossculturalsolidarity.com/organizing-against-the-second-trump-administration/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>Charting the Resistance to the Second Trump Administration</strong></a>: These resources track the many forms of resistance to Trumpian authoritarianism, ranging from boycotts and grassroots organizing, to resistance from within institutions such as the military and faith-based communities, to resistance across a range of professions including journalists, scientists, and artists. Collectively and at scale, these many forms of resistance undermine the <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H6JsPFdtS-k" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">pillars of support</a> authoritarian regimes rely on.

<div>Making diverse examples of dissent visible is crucial for many reasons: it gives people hope (which is fuel for action), it broadens our collective understanding of the many roles to be played, and it normalizes opposition… which in turn helps more people join opposition efforts, and helps to shift institutions away from being complicit with authoritarian demands.

<div>3)	<a href="https://crossculturalsolidarity.com/resource-collection-authoritarianism-bigotry-in-the-second-trump-administration/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>Tracking the Authoritarianism &amp; Bigotry in the Second Trump Administration</strong></a>: Authoritarianism is a constellation. This resource tracks each and every point in the constellation of Trumpian authoritarianism, with pages on everything from flooding the zone to unitary executive theory, to weaponizing institutions ranging from the FBI to universities, to criminalizing dissent and attacking the free press.

<div>4)	<a href="https://crossculturalsolidarity.com/resources-on-far-right-extremism/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>Tracking the Far Right Ecosystem</strong></a>: These resources track the many dimensions of the broader far right ecosystem the Trump administration is a part of, from Christian nationalism to ecofascism, from youth radicalization to far right fight clubs.

<div>5)	<a href="https://crossculturalsolidarity.com/tracking-ice-during-the-second-trump-administration/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>Tracking ICE During the Second Trump</strong></a><strong> </strong><a href="https://crossculturalsolidarity.com/tracking-ice-during-the-second-trump-administration/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>Administration</strong></a>: These resources track the many dimensions of ICE, from mass surveillance and warrantless arrests, to deportations without due process to how ICE harms the economy, to ICE traumatizing children to medical neglect and death in ICE facilities.

<div>There are over 100 resource pages between these five collections, each of which tracks a specific point in the constellations of authoritarianism and resistance. Most pages begin with a resource collection (such as overviews of the topic, organizations working on the subject, or books about the subject), followed by a news roundup organized chronologically.

<div>The funding for this project allows for these 100+ resource collections to be regularly updated with news and new resources on each subject; for new resource collections to be created; for a major outreach effort to justice orgs across the country to make sure these resources have the largest impact; and for the monthly discussion group to be sustainable.
