<div>Lizzie Velasquez only speaks one language: miracle. Since she was born, she has been living against the odds, in and out of hospitals and surgeries, specialists and procedures, more times than her faith and love-filled family can count. At the same time, somehow she has also been in service of all of us. Inspiring us around the world and back again with her compassion, her humor, her creativity, and her wisdom with every breath.

<div>On July 21, Lizzie underwent her riskiest surgery yet. After two and a half years without answers and in a new level of extraordinary pain, she found the right doctor who as it turns out, was just as brave as she is.  It was a multi-hour surgery to help her do more than just get by, but to finally thrive again. Her doctor and the incredible Austin hospital staff have been nothing short of heroic. And through it all, Lizzie has fought again with boundless strength and a knowing that she has even more to give.

<div>Lizzie and her family continue to count on their faith, but now that Lizzie has made it through, she faces a long, journey of recovery.  The outpouring of love from family, friends, and fans has been so widespread- so many asking what they can do to help. Now, with our eyes on getting our girl out of the hospital as soon as possible, and well at home, the journey can include us all.
