<div>You see, Ruby has been a very sick kitten. He has an unknown neurological condition and gastrointestinal issues that cause him to vomit frequently despite being on several anti-nausea medications. To doctors, he is a complete “medical mystery!”

<div>I work at an animal hospital that offers employee discounts, but I have an outstanding bill from performing several X-rays, varying blood tests, and other medical treatments on Ruby to try to figure out what’s wrong with him. I managed to get his medical bill down to $1,700, but my job takes $100 from every check, and it’s getting overwhelming to afford on my own when there are still more tests and treatments to try!

<div>Most recently, we were referred to see an Internal Medicine specialist for his consistent vomiting, but the consultation is $300 upfront. This does not include treatment. I have been trying to save up for this consultation, but money has been tight since I live paycheck to paycheck without financial support.
