<div><strong> Help The Wandering Witch Move Into Our New Community Home</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>For nearly five years, The Wandering Witch has been a home for magic, healing, belonging, and community care in Poquoson and the surrounding area.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Founded by Skylar in February 2021, The Wandering Witch has grown into a warm, inclusive space for spiritual seekers, curious beginners, witches, children, teens, families, neurodivergent folks, queer folks, disabled people, grieving hearts, and anyone who longs for connection and authenticity.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>When I joined the shop two years ago, we wove our work together - teaching, creating, supporting, dreaming - and our community flourished.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong>Today, The Wandering Witch offers:</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><em>✨ Free Witchy Wednesdays &amp; Moon Circles</em>

</div>

<div><em>✨ Family &amp; children’s classes</em>

</div>

<div><em>✨ Pantry tables &amp; free community meals</em>

</div>

<div><em>✨ Donation-based support circles</em>

</div>

<div><em>✨ Grief support &amp; trauma-informed offerings</em>

</div>

<div><em>✨ Festivals and seasonal community events</em>

</div>

<div><em>✨ Accessible, inclusive magic for all</em>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>The Wandering Witch is built on our shared belief that community care should be accessible, sustainable, and offered with love.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong> Why We’re Fundraising</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>After a year of considering options and looking into the best place to call our new home, we’ve found the space that feels right. It’s

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>• larger

</div>

<div>• accessible

</div>

<div>• better for classes &amp; circles

</div>

<div>• better for markets &amp; events

</div>

<div>• better for kids and families

</div>

<div>• better for community care

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>This move is intentional, and something we’ve carefully considered - a step forward into our next beautiful chapter of community building.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>With growth comes transition costs, including:

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>✔️ $3,080 lease-release fee

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>(to leave our current building without paying months of double rent)

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>✔️ Moving costs

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>(truck, labor, supplies, deposits)

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>✔️ Renovations

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>(including removing walls to make the new space functional &amp; accessible)

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>✔️ Keeping the current location open through February

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>(so we can transition smoothly)

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>✔️ December community events

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>(we refuse to cancel free and low-cost offerings during the holidays when our community needs them most)

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>✔️ Winter slowdown

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>(when small businesses often struggle)

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>✔️ The creation of our long-dreamed-of Community Aid Fund

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>(to help community members in need with groceries, sliding-scale spots, emergency support, and accessibility)

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong> Why We’re Asking for Help</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>We have poured everything into The Wandering Witch - our time, our money, our creativity, our love, our bodies, our magic, and our hearts.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong>And we know many of you have felt the impact through:</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><em>✨ the free meals we’ve shared</em>

</div>

<div><em>✨ the classes where you found confidence or clarity</em>

</div>

<div><em>✨ the circles where you cried or healed</em>

</div>

<div><em>✨ the festivals where you felt joy</em>

</div>

<div><em>✨ the support during grief</em>

</div>

<div><em>✨ the community you found here</em>

</div>

<div><em>✨ the belonging you felt inside these walls</em>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>This community has supported so many.

</div>

<div>Now we are asking for support in return - so that we can continue doing what we do, without financial strain or sacrificing the offerings that mean so much to the people we serve.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong> How Your Donation Helps</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Your support directly funds:

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong><em>• our lease release</em></strong>

</div>

<div><strong><em>• moving &amp; renovations</em></strong>

</div>

<div><strong><em>• winter events</em></strong>

</div>

<div><strong><em>• our new community space</em></strong>

</div>

<div><strong><em>• and our future Community Aid Fund</em></strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Every dollar helps us create a safer, bigger, more magical home where we can continue offering accessible spiritual education, mutual aid, family events, and trauma-informed community care.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>No amount is too small.

</div>

<div>Sharing helps just as much as donating.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong>Thank You</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Thank you for helping us grow.

</div>

<div>Thank you for believing in community magic.

</div>

<div>Thank you for supporting the next chapter of The Wandering Witch.

</div>

<div>We can’t wait to welcome you into our new home.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong><em>With love and immense gratitude,</em></strong>
