<div>The Ride follows Gizzy, a grad student visiting her grandparents while carrying the weight of a deeply personal decision. Nervous, scared, and afraid of being judged, she turns to her grandmother for support.

<div>At the center of the film is the importance of pro choice. Gizzy is not asking her family to fully understand every part of her decision. She is asking to be seen, trusted, and supported during one of the most vulnerable moments of her life.

<div>When her grandmother cannot bring herself to go with her, Gizzy’s grandfather Jim steps forward. His decision to support her sparks an intergenerational conversation rooted in empathy, open mindedness, and the understanding that being pro choice means respecting someone’s right to make a deeply personal decision about their own life, body, and future.
