The Alquinga Family are from San Juan Capistrano, CA. On Saturday, Aug. 31, a tragedy struck the Alquinga family when they were involved in a devastating car accident at the corner of Via California and Las Ramblas, caused by a drunk driver. This heartbreaking incident has left the family facing unimaginable challenges. The father, a construction worker who is the primary provider, sustained serious injuries and faces a long road to recovery, requiring at least two months off work. Their 14-year-old son suffered a broken jaw in two places, while their 9-year-old daughter is currently intubated, sedated, and on a feeding tube, with paralysis on her left side.

This fundraiser is dedicated to supporting the Alquinga family during this incredibly difficult time. Your donations will help cover medical expenses, rehabilitation, and daily living costs while they focus on healing and recovery. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in their lives. The family asks for your prayers, especially for their little girl. Thank you for your kindness and generosity. The Chicas Family are good friend with the Alquingas. They know them since they arrived from Ecuador. They are accepting funds on their behalf since the Alquingas are undocumented and are unable to provide a Social Security number, something GoFundMe requires. All collected funds will be transferred directly to their account.

La familia Chicas son buenos amigos de los Alquinga. Los conocen desde que llegaron de Ecuador. Todos los fondos recaudados se transferirán directamente a su cuenta.
