<div>I supported my husband’s move to the UK, but once he arrived, the relationship turned abusive physically, mentally, psychologically, and financially. It became so unsafe that I had to seek refuge, and both the police and courts became involved.

<div>In December, we were told to leave our home. I moved out for my safety, but he stayed behind and stopped paying the rent even though the tenancy was in my name. All the debt fell on me.

<div>I’m trying to rebuild my life after everything I’ve survived, but this debt is blocking my ability to move forward. I can’t do it alone.
