<div>To anyone reading this letter with a compassionate heart,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My name is Yama Raufi , and I am writing this with a mixture of overwhelming pride and profound urgency about my little sister, Tabsum.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Tabsum is 20 years old, and she is a beacon of resilience. She was in the second year of her Engineering faculty when the Taliban took control of Afghanistan,We are from Afghanistan, a country where, heartbreakingly, the doors to universities and schools have been slammed shut for girls like her. But Tabsum refused to let her light be extinguished. While facing immense obstacles and living under a regime that denies her fundamental right to learn, she studied in secret, she persevered, and she held onto a dream that so many have been forced to abandon.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And now, a miracle has happened. Through her incredible hard work and unwavering perseverance, Tabsum has received an acceptance letter from the University of Almaty in Kazakhstan! Not only that, but she has also been granted a scholarship. This is more than an acceptance letter; it is a lifeline. It is a validation of her struggle and a chance to step out of the darkness and into the light. It is a dream that has dared to become real.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>However, our immense joy is tempered by a harsh reality. The scholarship covers her tuition, but we are now facing significant financial difficulties to actually get her there. The travel expenses from Afghanistan to Kazakhstan, along with the required hostel fees for her living expenses, will cost approximately $2,000. For our family, this is an impossible sum.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This $2,000 is not just a number; it is the key that unlocks the door. It is the difference between a future built and a future deferred. It is the cost of hope itself.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>By supporting Tabsum, you are not just helping one young woman. You are investing in a future leader. You are telling every girl in Afghanistan who is secretly dreaming of an education that their dreams are valid and that the world has not forgotten them. Tabsum wants to become a role model, to prove that from the deepest darkness, a single light can shine brightly and guide the way for others.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are turning to the kindness of this global community to help us bridge this gap. Any contribution, no matter how small, will bring her closer to her goal. If you are in a position to help, please consider donating to her cause.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>*If you are not in a situation to help financially, your support is just as valuable.* Please, I beg you, share this message with your friends, your family, and your community. Share it on your social media. You never know who might see it and be able to change the course of a life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Let’s come together to help a determined young woman seize this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Let’s help Tabsum become the symbol of hope she is destined to be.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With the deepest gratitude and hope,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>[Yama Raufi]
</div>
<div>(Brother of Tabsum)
