<div><strong>Marlin (previously Big Buddy) was found running on the highway in South GA.</strong> When he was picked up, he was covered in mud and scrounging for any food he could find.

<div>He was taken to the vet, original owners were found, and Marlin has been surrendered. They believe he's about a year and a half old.

<div>He currently has quite a few bald spots from poor nutrition and care, but his most pressing concern is his ears. <strong>Unfortunately, due to chronic, untreated ear infections, both of his ear canals are swollen shut.</strong> The vet told us that he needs a referral to a surgery center in order to take out the swollen parts. If not taken care of, tumors can form and cancer can spread.

<div>Marlin is the sweetest boy and before we rehome him, we're wanting to make sure to get him the surgery he needs. <strong>The vet estimated the surgery to be around $4,000 ($2,000 for each ear).</strong> Any amount donated is extremely appreciated and will go towards his care. I will make sure to update this page as the surgeries are scheduled and how he is doing!
