<div>Coco is my best friend, my partner in crime, and the sweetest soul I’ve ever known. She’s nearly ten years old but still full of life — vibrant, playful, and as energetic as the day we met. You’d never guess her age by watching her get in a good walk, work a room like a pro, or charm everyone she meets at the park, the winery, or even the local Starbucks (where she insists on stopping for a pup cup and a social visit).

<div>I was lucky enough to rehome Coco five years ago, and in the words of her previous owner, we “were always meant to find each other.” I couldn’t agree more. She’s my heart dog — the kind of once-in-a-lifetime connection you don’t expect but instantly recognize when it happens.

<div>Coco brings joy wherever she goes — so much so that last year, she was even honored as Seattle Refined’s <a href="https://seattlerefined.com/ruffined/ruffined-spotlight-coco-the-french-bulldog-seattle-dog-pet-of-the-week-pnw-pets-dogs-frenchie" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Pet of the Week</a>. It was such a proud Mama moment to see her celebrated for the light she brings to the world.

<div>Last year, Coco developed a mast cell tumor on her back hip. <strong>It needs to be surgically removed and biopsied.</strong> I’ve delayed the procedure longer than I should have, not because I didn’t want to help her, but because I kept believing I was getting closer to affording it.
