<div>In a nutshell, it's a robotic hysterectomy, taking everything, tubes and all, except for my right ovary (I had 2 mini-strokes from estrogen in birth control, so leaving the one good ovary keeps me from needing hormone replacement therapy). During the hysterectomy, they will have a pathologist freeze and slice into the sample to determine what kind of cancer it is and if it has metastasized (spread further). If it has spread further, they will determine if they need to remove anything like lymph nodes or other areas of concern.
