<div>Over Labor Day weekend 2025, our cousin Janene [Kusmierz] Kobow’s family experienced a life-altering tragedy. Her husband, <strong>Jim Kobow—</strong>a devoted father, loving husband, caring brother and son, and loyal friend<strong>—suffered a severe head (brain) injury in a devastating accident.</strong>

<div>By God’s grace, Jim is showing signs of responsiveness; his eyes are open, and he is attempting to communicate. While this offers hope, his recovery will be long and challenging. He faces months of rehabilitation, therapy, and ongoing care.
