<div><strong>Ciocia Basia (Tante Barbara)</strong> ist ein ehrenamtliches, in Berlin ansässiges, queer-feministisches Kollektiv. Wir unterstützen ungewollt schwangere Personen aus Polen dabei, einen sicheren und straffreien Schwangerschaftsabbruch in Deutschland zu erhalten.

<div>Jeden Tag beantworten wir E-Mails, Facebook- und Instagramnachrichten sowie Anrufe von Personen, die sich nach einem Abbruch in Deutschland erkundigen. Wir vereinbaren Termine in Kliniken in Berlin, bieten Übersetzungsleistungen an, vermitteln Unterkünfte in den Wohnungen von Freiwilligen und unterstützen die Personen finanziell.

<div>Mit eurer Unterstützung konnten wir in der letzten Kampagne <strong>42 850 €</strong> Euro an Spenden sammeln. Dafür sind wir unglaublich dankbar!

<div>Ohne diese Hilfe wäre es uns nicht möglich, den Zugang zu einem sicheren Schwangerschaftsabbruch für Personen mit geringen finanziellen Mitteln zu gewährleisten.

<div>Zwischen<strong> 2021 und 2024</strong> haben wir insgesamt <strong>51 000 Euro</strong> ausgegeben, um <strong>471 Personen</strong> zu unterstützen.

<div>Das sind im Durchschnitt<strong> 110 Euro pro Person </strong>– für Eingriff, Anreise, Unterkunft, Übersetzung und weitere notwendige Ausgaben.

<div>Der Bedarf bleibt hoch: Jährlich begleiten wir rund<strong> 118 Personen</strong>, was laufende Kosten von ca. <strong>12.750 Euro</strong> bedeutet.

<div>Der Zugang zu Abtreibung und sexueller Selbstbestimmung ist in Polen stark eingeschränkt und verschlechtert sich weiter:

<li>Die „Pille danach“ ist rezeptpflichtig
</li>
<li>Sexualaufklärung ist mangelhaft
</li>
<li>Seit Oktober 2020 sind Schwangerschaftsabbrüche durch ein Urteil des Verfassungsgerichts nahezu unmöglich

<div>Trotz des Regierungswechsels, weg von der PiS hin zu einer pro-europäischen Koalition unter Donald Tusk, <strong>hat sich am Abtreibungsrecht (noch) nichts geändert.</strong>

<div>Ein Schwangerschaftsabbruch in Deutschland kostet in der Regel über <strong>400 Euro</strong>, was für viele nicht finanzierbar ist.

<div>Wir finden: Niemand sollte eine ungewollte Schwangerschaft nur deshalb austragen müssen, weil das Geld fehlt.

Umawiamy wizyty w klinikach w Berlinie, pomagamy w tłumaczeniach, organizujemy zakwaterowanie u wolontariuszek i wspieramy osoby finansowo.

<div><strong>Ciocia Basia (“Aunt Barbara”) </strong>is a Berlin-based, volunteer-run, queer-feminist collective. We support people from Poland facing unwanted pregnancies in accessing safe and legal abortion care in Germany.

<div>Every day, we respond to emails, Facebook and Instagram messages, and phone calls from people seeking information about abortion in Germany. We schedule appointments at clinics in Berlin, offer translation support, arrange accommodation with volunteers, and provide financial assistance.

<div><strong>What we’ve achieved so far – thanks to your support</strong>

<div>With your help, our last campaign raised <strong>€42,850</strong> in donations, and we are deeply grateful!

<div>Access to abortion and sexual autonomy in Poland is severely restricted and the situation is still worsening:

<li>Emergency contraception (“the morning-after pill”) requires a prescription
</li>
<li>Sex education is inadequate
</li>
<li>Since October 2020, following a Constitutional Court ruling, abortions are nearly impossible to obtain

<div>Despite a change in government, from the conservative PiS to a pro-European coalition under Donald Tusk, <strong>nothing has (yet) changed regarding abortion laws.</strong>

<div>A safe abortion in Germany typically costs over €400, which many people simply cannot afford.

<div>We believe no one should be forced to continue an unwanted pregnancy just because they lack the money.
