Her beautiful little girl, Zulema, just turned 4 years old while hooked up to IVs and monitors, battling Leukemia Bone Marrow Cancer instead of playing, laughing, or starting preschool like most children her age.</strong>

<div><strong>On September 6th, just days before her birthday, Zulema was diagnosed with this aggressive cancer. What was meant to be a time of joy became an unimaginable fight for her life.</strong>

<div><strong>Since that day, her mother has never left her side — through long hospital stays, helicopter transfers, and rounds of painful chemotherapy. She has spent every moment comforting her daughter through side effects so harsh no child should ever endure them: severe nausea, dangerous electrolyte imbalances, fluid buildup in her lungs and abdomen that made it hard for her to breathe, and even a Rhinovirus infection on top of everything else.</strong>

She is a single mother with no financial support system, no one to step in so she can go to work, and currently no medical insurance while waiting for approval.
