<div>Yohanna is diagnosed with Lupus and Severe Kidney Disease. She's been managing her Lupus well for about 12 years up until December of 2024 when she had to be hospitalized for a month.  Since then, Yohanna has been living with family members to support her in managing her lupus,  and recovering from her hospitalization. for the past 8 months she's had to financially rely on her  daughter, Valeria and her son, Freddy who have been struggling to help her with work , hospital visits, appointments, medication, her bills and they have fallen behind.

<div>Unfortunately, due to all the medication she's been prescribed over time  her already hard-of-hearing has worsened and her vision has developed into cataracts. Thankfully, her doctor's are able to have her cataracts surgery scheduled for October, but her family is worried about how they will pay for the cost of surgery on top of all her medical bills and their cost of living. Once the surgery is done, the plan is for Yohanna to move back into her home with her son Freddy, but  Yohanna and her children need financial support to pay their her eye surgery,  pay off  her medical bills, and get back on their feet.

<div>A Yohanna le diagnosticaron lupus y enfermedad renal grave. Llevó un buen control del lupus durante unos 12 años, hasta diciembre de 2024, cuando tuvo que ser hospitalizada durante un mes. Desde entonces, Yohanna ha estado viviendo con familiares que la apoyan en el manejo del lupus y en su recuperación de la hospitalización. Durante los últimos 8 meses, ha dependido económicamente de su hija, Valeria, y su hijo, Freddy, quienes han tenido dificultades para ayudarla con su trabajo, las visitas al hospital, las citas médicas, la medicación y las facturas, y se han atrasado en el pago los pagos.

<div>Desafortunadamente, debido a todos los medicamentos que le han recetado con el tiempo, su ya difícil audición ha empeorado y su visión ha evolucionado a cataratas. Afortunadamente, sus médicos pudieron programar su cirugía de cataratas para octubre, pero a su familia le preocupa cómo cubrirán el costo de la cirugía, además de todas sus facturas médicas y su costo de vida. Una vez realizada la cirugía, el plan es que Yohanna regrese a su casa con su hijo Freddy, pero Yohanna y sus hijos necesitan apoyo financiero para pagar su cirugía ocular, saldar sus facturas médicas y recuperarse nuevamente.
